Pattern in ancient indian art of Rangoli

Ancient traditional art of making Rangoli designs is based on pattern making and repetition of design around an axis point.These designs are created during festivals such as Holi , Deewali ,Onam and during celebrations.The design is created by hand using various colors created at home.But nowadays the readymade patterns are available in the market for sale.These patterns are easy to draw.There have been many artists who like to create rangoli by hand.They did not use any scale but still the design generated by them looks balanced and proportionate.The designs generally used by the artists are folk designs.These folk designs have been transferred from generation to generation.Rangoli is a sanskrit word meaning row of colors.

Love you god for a colorful world

The color is sometimes unpredictable/mysterious.What impression it leaves on the viewer is altogether different.It creates different emotions and creates mood.I think everyone has sometime become glad to see rainbow in the sky.I thank god for this colorful world.

Line Art and beauty of lines

Line is a very good element to discuss.As without a line there would not have been many things in this world.A line is defined as the element connecting any two points on a two dimensional plane.A line comprises of infinite number of points each point taking the line to a particular direction.I have seen beauty in line.Line art itself can convey femininity without creating the full drawing.That is the beauty of line.I have created a number of beautiful designs using only line.

Colorful designs

Color is very important for an artist.This is a colorful world and god has made millions of colors.  We can see and distinguish each color.It is our ability to interpret each color differently.So this is a very important aspect in design.It creates and generates emotions.I would rather say it is a language for the artist to convey his thoughts and emotions. Emotions generated from the artists passes through the language of art to the viewer.This is what aesthetics is all about.One who has the ability to sense the beauty of art and beauty of line, color and form can be said to be an artist in the true sense.The art lives in his heart and he is the true artist.Old civilisations did not have the education system to teach art but still the art generated by tribal is taught in classrooms because they created it by heart.

Color Schemes

Color schemes do play an important role in design.There are many good softwares which provide color schemes to choose from.

I have this new design made sometime back.Hope you like it.

When some design is created in space its beauty depends on how much the artists have followed these principle as well as the asthetic sense of the artist.

I have found face book logo  very elegent and simple.Sometime simplicity in design also attracts the attention of the viewer.Boldness in design keeps the mind busy fo sometimes.The image is remembered for a long time due to bold letters.

Power point

Power point is really a wonderful software for designers.They can use it to explore  create wonderful graphics also.Designers have to make their portfolio to be presented among customers or prospects.Usually they prefer powerpoint or flash.
